Ms. Oyelaran
Statistics and agriculture teacher, Ogbomosho
- 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
- Beacon High School
- 1982 to 2007
- English, Igbo
For 25 years I was the statistics teacher at Beacon High School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me statistics in 2002 at Beacon High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 1987. I remember you!
