I taught English literature and history at Hillcrest Grammar School, Mississauga. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Owens
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Owens: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
