I taught computer science and English literature at San Jose Boys' School, San Jose. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ortiz: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
