I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,090 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Orozco: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
