Ms. Opio
Physics teacher at Bamboo Middle School, 1985 to 2013

- Bamboo Middle School

- English, Swahili
I taught physics at Bamboo Middle School in Kinondoni from 1985 to 2013. Most days I taught Year 7, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Opio
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Opio: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
