Ms. Opio
23 years teaching mathematics in Kakamega
- 🇰🇪 Kakamega, Kakamega, Kenya
- Kakamega Primary School
- 1994 to 2002
- English, Swahili
For eight years I was the mathematics teacher at Kakamega Primary School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Opio
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
