I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ms. Onyeama: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
