I taught art at Dar es Salaam Primary School in Dar es Salaam from 1992 to 2014. Most days I taught primary school children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 1,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
