I taught history at Vitória da Conquista Technical College in Vitória da Conquista from 1987 to 2010. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Oliveira
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Oliveira: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
