Ms. Okello
Retired Spanish teacher from Nairobi Grammar School

I taught Spanish at Nairobi Grammar School in Nairobi from 2015 to 2023. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
