Ms. Okamoto

French and religious studies teacher, Shinjuku

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Jacaranda Grammar School
  • Since 1978
  • Japanese
For 48 years I have been the French teacher at Jacaranda Grammar School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.

More about Ms. Okamoto

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
