Ms. Okamoto

25 years teaching computer science in Sakai

🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
Sakai Middle School
2013 to 2025
Japanese

I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I had 600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Ms. Okamoto

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Okamoto: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
