For 20 years I was the early years teacher at Holy Cross Middle School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Okafor
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
