I taught social studies at Acacia Secondary School in Abuja from 1999 to 2017. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Ogunbanjo
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
