Ms. Ochieng
Taught history at Mombasa Public School
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Mombasa Public School
- 2005 to 2020
- English, Swahili
For 15 years I was the history teacher at Mombasa Public School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
