I taught home economics at Kilimanjaro Primary School in San Jose from 1984 to 2020. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I learned every name in the first week.
I ran the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
More about Ms. Obrien
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
