For ten years I was the computer science teacher at Kano Boys' School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
