I teach special education at Gateway Girls' School in Nakuru since 1994. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,180 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
