I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Nikitin
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Nikitin: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
