Ms. Nguyen

Early years and chemistry teacher, Da Nang

🇻🇳 Da Nang, Da Nang, Vietnam
Andes Boys' School
Since 1991
English, Vietnamese

I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 1,090 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Ms. Nguyen

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Nguyen: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
