Ms. Nelson
Retired home economics teacher from Surrey High School
- 🇨🇦 Surrey, British Columbia, Canada
- Surrey High School
- 1982 to 2018
- English
Surrey High School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 1982 to 2018, mostly Grade 6.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Nelson
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Nelson: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me home economics in 1984 at Surrey High School. I still remember the long bus ride home.

I was in your Grade 6 class in 2023. You believed I could do it before I did
