I taught mathematics at Pietermaritzburg Technical College in Pietermaritzburg from 1998 to 2009. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Ndlovu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
