I taught social studies at Stonebridge Girls' School in Raleigh from 1995 to 2022. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Nava: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
