20 years teaching environmental science in Zanzibar City

Harbor Middle School is my second home. I teach environmental science there since 1988, mostly Grade 4.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Nakamya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
