For 39 years I have been the chemistry teacher at St. Mary's Middle School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 700 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Nakajima
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Nakajima: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
