Ms. Mwende
Geography and social studies teacher, Mbale
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Heritage Academy
- Since 2014
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Mwende
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mwende: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
