Ms. Mwangi
13 years teaching geography in Entebbe
- 🇺🇬 Entebbe, Central Region, Uganda
- Riverside Academy
- 1979 to 1997
- English, Swahili
For 18 years I was the geography teacher at Riverside Academy. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Ms. Mwangi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mwangi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me geography in 2016 at Riverside Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Thank you again.
