For 22 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Nairobi Grammar School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Ms. Mutua
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mutua: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2008 at Nairobi Grammar School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
