Dar es Salaam High School was my second home. I taught history there from 1989 to 2012, mostly first-year students.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
