Ms. Mthembu
33 years teaching physical education in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Frangipani Public School
- 2008 to 2025
- English, Zulu
I taught physical education at Frangipani Public School in Johannesburg from 2008 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Mthembu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mthembu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physical education in 2011 at Frangipani Public School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
