Ms. Monteiro
French and statistics teacher, São Paulo
- 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
- 1990 to 2018
- Portuguese
I taught French at Oakwood High School in São Paulo from 1990 to 2018. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Monteiro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Monteiro: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
