I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mizrahi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
