I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Miranda
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me economics in 2017 at São Paulo Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
