Ms. Miah
15 years teaching mathematics in Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Ashford Technical College
- 1999 to 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Ms. Miah
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Miah: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2005. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Cầu Giấy.

You taught me mathematics in 2007 at Ashford Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
