For eight years I was the chemistry teacher at Kolkata Public School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Miah: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
