I teach chemistry at Parkside Primary School in Akron since 1994. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 930 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Ms. Merritt: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
