I taught home economics at Meadowbank Boys' School in Bacolod from 1990 to 1999. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
