Ms. Mendoza
17 years teaching environmental science in Brooklyn
- 🇺🇸 Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Brooklyn Academy
- Since 1982
- English, Filipino
I teach environmental science at Brooklyn Academy in Brooklyn since 1982. Most days I teach Grade 4, and my door is open at lunch.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Mendoza
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mendoza: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
