I teach music at Westbrook Girls' School in Santos since 2004. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,280 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Mendes
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mendes: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
