Ms. Mendes
Teacher at Valley View Academy, loves geography
- 🇧🇷 Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil
- Valley View Academy
- Since 1991
- Portuguese, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.

If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 1998. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Barranquilla.

You taught me geography in 2020 at Valley View Academy. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Thank you again.
