I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Ms. Melnyk
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Melnyk: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
