For 19 years I have been the agriculture teacher at Pioneer Technical College. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Melaku: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
