I teach special education at Newcastle Girls' School in Newcastle since 2016. Most days I teach teenagers, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mejia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me special education in 2024 at Newcastle Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
