I teach music at Rosewood Academy in Birmingham since 2005. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Ms. Mejia
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
