Ms. Mejia
17 years teaching art in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Public School
- 2013 to 2025
- English
I taught art at Oakland Public School in Oakland from 2013 to 2025. Most days I taught primary school children, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

You taught me art in 2013 at Oakland Public School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
