Ms. Medina
Special education and mathematics teacher, A Coruña
- 🇪🇸 A Coruña, Galicia, Spain
- Silverlake Academy
- 1995 to 2017
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Ms. Medina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me special education in 2020 at Silverlake Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard Truly.
