For twelve years I was the special education teacher at Beacon Primary School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Ms. Medina: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
