I taught biology at Galway Secondary School in Galway from 2016 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 6, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Ms. McCarthy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
