I taught art and Spanish at San Jose Boys' School, San Jose. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. McBride
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
