For 39 years I have been the English literature teacher at Mumbai High School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

What gifts mean to Ms. Maurya: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me English literature in 2021 at Mumbai High School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
